New Training Requirement for Businesses
The work includes construction of an aviation engine facility with two engine test stands, engine assembly area, control rooms, and optional administrative/breakroom area. This facility will include information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connections. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) and Energy Policy Act 2005 (EPAct 2005) features will be provided. Supporting facilities site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm water retention, information systems, landscaping, and signage. Heating and air conditioning will be provided by self-contained systems. Comprehensive building and furnishings related to interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Air Conditioning systems are not authorized at this installation except for telecommunication and computer equipment areas. Information Systems will be installed.

5/2/19 @ 9:00AM -- Meet @ project site located on JBLM (Lewis Main) at the south end of Gray Army Air Field (GAAF) on 2nd Division Dr between Libby Ave and Kyle Ave.
Seismic improvements at three locations: Elk Plain School of Choice; Bethel Middle School; and Bethel School District Operations Shop. These improvements are focused on improving the anchorage of masonry and concrete walls to wood frame roof and floor structures but will also address out of plane bracing for unreinforced and under reinforced masonry walls where height to thickness ratios are in excess of prescribed limits. Install/patch/repair and prime & paint interior gypsum sheating around areas affected by these improvements. Removal of existing rubber base.
