New Training Requirement for Businesses

  • As of July 1, 2019, all businesses are required to have training before bidding and/or performing work on public works projects.  Earlier this year the legislature passed ESSHB 1673 adding this training requirement to the responsible bidder criteria in RCW 39.04.350.

 

New Mandatory Certified Payroll Reporting for Businesses

  • Beginning January 1, 2020, all businesses are required to submit certified payroll reports at least once a month to WA State L&I using L&I's online system.  In May, 2019, the legistlature passed Senate Bill 5035 adding this new requirement to the Prevailing Wages on Public Works law (SB 5035 - Section 5).

Project Description

1) Full installation of container guide tracks for two (2) municipal solid waste (MSW) sheds including demolition of existing tracks, new structural steel tracks, cementitious grout, and track appurtenances.2) Refurbishment and maint of conc on existing container guide tracks for one (1) MSW shed, including fill of abandoned track area. 3) Installation of pre-engineered trench drains and catch basins.
